As the Business Development Manager for TopInstallers.com, you will build and implement the strategy to create the largest and most active site for contractors and developers, ensuring an exceptional crowd powered customer experience. 

The Business Development Manager is accountable for ensuring the success of the site by growing a large and highly participative customer base as well as recruiting installers that are representative of diverse expertise and locations. Reporting to the VP of Sales, the Business Development Manager will rely on a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a proven ability to develop and grow business.

Responsibilities:  

• Develop and manage business processes designed to leverage the TopInstallers.com contractor portal
• Optimize online resources to proactively source leads & increase program database
• Determine strategies to drive site traffic, thoroughly understanding customer needs and behaviors to market the site and ensure customer reviews
• Collect and analyze data and information generated from the site to enhance the customer experience and maximize traffic
• Build relationships with TopInstaller.com business partners to drive excellence in operating performance and act as champion for productivity enhancements

Expected Outcomes:

• Create and execute a strategy designed to make TopInsallers.com the #1 website used to find local Installers in the US market.
• Create a business plan designed to achieve a minimum of 10,000 qualified contractors within the first year.
• Establish and track key metrics of success which reflect an understanding of customers, installers and the connection to the wider business

Desired Skills & Experience:

• 5-8 years experience proactively developing business, with an emphasis on digital marketing
• Strong entrepreneurial spirit
• Proven experience leveraging technology to create a market and drive an exceptional customer experience
• Demonstrated vision and the ability to think creatively to develop strategies with clear outcomes
• Results orientation and the ability to work collaboratively to build and manage relationships
• Well-developed communication skills, both written and verbal
• High levels of integrity and a commitment to do what you say you are going to do
• A desire to learn and continuously improve
• Ability to balance strategy with hands-on delivery
